What are the Buddha Bhaang cones made out of?
All our cones are made from organic hemp grown in France.
What is hemp?
Hemp is a type of Cannabis sativa plant that contains very little of the psychoactive THC compound found in hemp's sister plant marijuana. Sometimes referred to as industrial hemp, this versatile plant can be used for many different purposes and applications such as food (hemp seeds and oil), remedies (CBD), fabric (stem and stalk), and paper (fiber pulp)
Are hemp cones better than wood or rice cones?
Better is subjective but hemp cones have certain attributes that you may find very desirable: hemp papers are thin yet durable and provide a clean, flavorless slow burn that does not detract from taste. Best of all, by choosing hemp papers you help save trees and protect the environment because hemp is a sustainable crop that requires nearly no pesticides or herbicides (unlike rice), replenishes the soil around it, uses less water, reduces pollution, and is faster-growing, lighter, and many times stronger than wood.
Are Buddha Bhaang clothes made out of hemp?
Not yet. We are exploring using hemp fabric in our apparel products, however, due to supply chain issues and the lack of international proficiency with the use of hemp fabrics we have yet to find a factory that can produce the quality, texture, and style of our apparel using hemp fabric. But we are confident that day will come.
Do you ship products outside the United States?
